Frequently asked questions

Before you contact us, let’s try and answer most of your questions….

How do I book a stall?
We don’t pre book any stalls.
On market morning arrive between 6:00am and 6:45am and enter your details on the sign-on sheet located in the hall. Sign-on sheet closes at 6.45 a.m.

How much does a stall cost?
Casual stall fee is $15.00 and late arrivals will be charged $25.00 if sites are still available.

Are there any restrictions on what can I sell?
Yes, Refer above: Type of goods & Food related stalls as not all items are suitable for the market or may be restricted.

If  unsure after referring above, email or visit the market and speak to a committee member.
To avoid disappointment you must have prior written permission from the committee to sell any type of food or consumable items.

Will I get a site?
Allocations begin at 7:00am giving preference to handmade items, long term casuals, locals and those with something unique and different.

Canopy sites are limited but those that are flexible and creative in how they can set up will almost always find a site.

On busy mornings ( leading up to X-mass etc.) we can never guarantee a site but will do our best.

What is available for hire on the day?
NO items are available for hire; you need to bring your own tables, chairs, umbrellas etc.

Can I bring my vehicle into the market?
You must not park or unload in the market area prior to your site allocation. Once a site has been allocated your vehicle must be removed after unloading as NO vehicles are permitted in the market between 8am – 2pm.

Permanent Stalls:
Are only available after a stallholder has been attending regularly over a minimum twelve month period and established a relationship with the market. Permanent sites are issued at the discretion of the market committee and only if  sites are available. All requests for permanent sites must be in writing.

Casual stall allocations:
Refer to our casual stalls link above as information located here is given to ALL casual stall holders each morning prior to stall allocations.
