Casual Stalls

This is how St Andrews Market works:

Sign on sheets are available between 6am -6.45 am and located on the stage in the hall.

Stall allocations commence at 7am and we appreciate when you have $15 ready when called.

**Arrive after 7.30am and if sites are available you will be charged $25. This is to encourage all to be punctual and to eliminate volunteers attending to late arrivals.

When you have a receipt, wait to the right of the hall for a volunteer to allocate you a site.

Once a site is selected place your receipt under a rock / stone etc to secure the site.  If you don’t it may mean another stall takes the site and you needing to locate another.

To assist with traffic congestion within the market:

Do not park or unloaded stock in the market prior to site allocations. NO cars are permitted in the market between 8am and 2pm.

Cars entering the market must give way to cars exiting at all times.

Unload your car as quickly as possible and remove from market site. Do not set up your stall while your car is still in the market.

Follow the reverse at the end of the day: only stalls packed and ready to load can enter at 2pm. Those needing to pack directly in to vehicles must wait until 2.30pm before entering.

Consider customers and park as far from the market as possible such as the tennis courts, community centre etc. Stall holders are not to park around the edge of the market.

General information to be familiar with:

Refer to our website for details on types of items not permitted for sale within the market. If you unsure check with a committee member before selling.

**We have restrictions on food and consumable items and ALL must be approved prior to attending. Local council enforce Streatrader registration for approved items.

Items listed on sign on sheets must match what you are selling. Listing as handmade means locally or by you. If items are not as listed or as described, you will be asked to remove them.

Canopy sites are limited and our largest site is 3 x 3 meters. Canopies must be next to each other with no spaces and pegged and secure or you will be asked to take down.

A-frames & similar items are  safety hazards to patrons and must remain within stalls and not in walkways. Stall sites are not to be exceeded and you must stay within your site boundary.

Plants & trees are not to be used to secure stalls or picked for decoration.

Please remove all rubbish from in and around your stall even if it’s not yours.

There is NO market on days of total fire ban in the central district. Refer to CFA website and local radio for weather conditions in the area.

If your a regular make sure we have your business card for if and when customers want to contact you.
